She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), has earned a master’s degree in vocal performance and a master’s degree in music education. Molly did her undergraduate work in her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana where she earned her bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Indiana University and studied with Dr. Sam Savage. Over the next few years she went on to earn both of her graduate degrees at the University of Toledo where she studied with Dr. Denise Bernardini (voice), Dr. Pamela Stover (music education), Dr. Timothy Brakel (music education), and Dr. Brad Pierson (choral conducting).
Molly has worked with Michigan Opera Theatre three years in a row serving as a vocal coach, music director, and director for their long-running summer opera program. Subsequently she was chosen to teach select high school students in the RAMP-UP mentorship program- a collaboration between MOT and the Detroit School of the Arts. She has been a judge for NATS and MENC vocal competitions, a high school and college masterclass instructor, a vocal coach at the famous Macomb Center for the Performing Arts and this past year had the pleasure of presenting at the Music Conference Alberta.

She has designed curriculum for the general student population as well as specialized classes for children with special needs. While teaching in Michigan she had the pleasure of creating and directing a performing arts camp where performers ages 7-14 learned about singing, acting, movement on stage, set and costume design, audition practices, and improvisation. The camp culminated in a delightful and eclectic student-produced production. Upon moving to California in 2018 Molly had the pleasure of teaching in Irvine Unified School District as a 4-6th-grade vocal specialist.

"I was referred to Molly by an old friend who now sings opera in NYC. I knew I had to contact her. I have been taking vocal lessons with Molly for a couple months now. I started with no real training and that didn't intimidate her! She has been so patient and really takes her time to understand my individual voice and needs. My range has increased and my understanding of how my voice and body work together has blossomed. She has even tailored our time to incorporate some music theory lessons. Oh ya! And! She uses Google classroom so I get videos and links to other tools I can use in my spare time. I've mentioned my goals are local theater and choir and I'm excited to keep learning and make those happen. If you want someone who can help you find YOUR voice and have fun and laughs doing it, PLEASE work with Molly. She is amazing."

“I can say with complete confidence that the greatest decision I made as a young singer was taking voice lessons with Molly. Her technical knowledge of the voice and use of breath is exceptional. Molly’s ability to clearly communicate technique and use of visualizations with her students is invaluable, and in my experience not easily found in voice teachers. She was instrumental in fostering my vocal growth and confidence, and provided the appropriate push to move me out of my comfort zones. My time spent in her studio was time well spent!”

"Molly is truly the best voice teacher I have ever had, and I’ve been through my fair share of vocal coaches. She really connected with me and knew a variety of techniques and exercises that would help me achieve my goals as a singer. I felt challenged enough to where I was learning something every lesson but not to the point of being overwhelmed or anything. Each lesson was a balance of having fun and keeping on track. I appreciate everything she has done for me and definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking to improve their singing skills. Molly is one of the sweetest, most genuine, and most talented people I know. Don’t miss the opportunity to work with her!"

"Molly came highly recommended. If you run across her, she is without a doubt the right teacher for you or your child. She was professional, courteous, flexible, and patient. She had the technique to bring my daughter a head and shoulders above the rest. Molly gave my daughter the confidence to sing in front of her peers and regularly perform at our congregation. My daughter achieved division 1 ratings at Solo and Ensemble festival her junior and senior year of high school. She received a full scholarship to college to continue her vocal studies. My family and I attribute Ellie's success to the two years she spent working with Molly."

"Ms. Noori is a caring and funny teacher who is passionate about her work. I can't recommend her enough for voice lessons. She is respectful and always looks to help you improve both your strengths as well as your weak points in your vocal technique. Definitely a teacher who you will enjoy learning from."

"I would highly recommend Molly for voice lessons. While she is obviously very talented with her own vocal expression, her biggest talent is being able to express how to do different techniques through both demonstration and verbal expression. Molly not only taught me but my young daughter too. She had infinite patience and endless encouragement."

"Molly is a great teacher. She is most of all a good listener and very approachable, which is key when you are doing something so vulnerable as singing. She has an excellent ear and is creative in her recommendations. Prices are appropriate and don't seem to be her focus. She listened to my goals for lessons and I feel is tailoring my lessons to them. Greatly enjoying lessons here! For context, I have over 20 years of experience being in lessons, so she is not just for beginners."

"Molly is a great teacher! She has so much talent and knowledge. I had zero singing background and came to Molly to prepare for a beauty pageant / scholarship competition. I have learned so much and have enjoyed my experience here. This is a comfortable and great atmosphere for adults or kids to learn! I've worked with Molly for over 1 month now and we have accomplished so much with my voice and stage presence. She helped me discover and enhance my natural talent. This experience so far has been a great confidence booster! I highly recommend her to beginner or experienced singers!"

"Molly has done so much for my voice, my mind, and my knowledge of vocal technique. Before lessons with her, I had experienced a disconnect with what I was learning as a singer and what I was trying to sing with technique. Molly allows me to evaluate what I think I need during our lessons, offers amazing guidance on navigating singing with my break, and provides amazing exercises that allow me to change my bad habits when it comes to singing. Overall an amazing experience."

"Molly has helped me figure out some of the major aspects of my voice that were holding me back and how to work through them. She is incredibly skilled at being able to determine where your technique issues are stemming from and then how to move through them. My favorite thing is that she is incredibly supportive and is there with you every step of the way."

"I have been a student of Molly's for a couple months now and she is honestly one of the BEST teachers I have ever had. I graduated a couple of years ago with a degree in music and I wanted to continue my music knowledge with singing. From the first day that I met her, I knew she was going to be a phenomenal teacher and a great fit for me. Over time, she has helped me clearly define my goals, set a path for how to get there, and even reached a couple goals already! I cannot say enough good things about her. If you are interested in improving your singing by any means, I cannot recommend Molly enough!! She is an incredible musician, teacher, role model, and friend."

"Amazing!! Have only had a few lessons so far but already notice such a huge difference in my singing. She's super nice and patient, truly an amazing teacher. Highly recommend!!!"
George K.
"Molly is an amazing teacher! I have always been self conscious about singing and afraid of my own voice. In just a few sessions Molly gave me the confidence to sing again. She gave me super helpful breathing exercises, vocal techniques, and artistic guidance that changed my singing 180 for the better! Also, she's amazing at approaching each song from the spiritual, emotional, and artistic side first and then go to technique to help express the song. She also creates a comfortable and judgement free space!"
Evan A.
"Molly is an absolute joy to do singing lessons with. She's very encouraging and it's always fun having lessons with her. She really pays close attention to what your body is doing and always has good feedback to give about your technique and how you can improve. She really teaches you how to control your voice and has knowledge about many different singing styles. Highly recommend!"
Amantullah K.
"As someone who was new to singing and felt that they might be too old to start, I have gained a ton of confidence and progress thanks to Molly (and she assured me that there's no such thing as being too old to start singing!). In a few sessions she has already helped me explore my vocal capabilities and foster key fundamentals in my singing. In the lessons she has always gauged my comfort and how I felt with the exercises/songs, and every time knew exactly what exercises I can do to improve the core elements to my voice. Her instruction and feedback has been quite clear and constructive. Every lesson has been a lot of fun and keeps me motivated to keep practicing. Molly is exceptional teacher and mentor!!"

"Molly Noori, I couldn't recommend her more! Great for beginners or for artists like myself who are getting back into the swing of things. Even through zoom lessons feedback is given as if you're in the studio. Molly is a talented and wonderful teacher! Only works in ways to build you up and takes it at a pace you're comfortable with. Will for sure continue my training and working with her studio!"
